Architect and author Garry Baverstock, a leading light in the field of energy efficient architecture in Western Australia since the 1970's has incorporated state of the art energy efficient systems and products throughout this development.
Baverstock, a multi-award winning architect supports the endeavours of the Royal Institute of Architects to educate all architects to build in harmony with the environment in order to reduce greenhouse gases.
Garry holds public education workshops at University of Western Australia Extension and Home Base Expo and professional development sessions with the RAIA.
A philanthropist by nature, through his company Wise Earth Pty.Ltd. he encourages students by offering an annual Wise Earth Prize to the Curtin School of Architecture and offers his services specifically in the Pilbara region of North Western Australia, and general support anywhere in Australia.
The owner's inspiration for this project came from Garry Baverstock designed Piney Lakes Environment Education Centre, Melville.

Using the latest computer models for analysis, costing and critical path programmes for the construction of these innovative buildings the two principals initially sought out Garry Baverstock to help them incorporate energy efficiency design into their building projects.
