Introduction
The Rudds Gulley subdivision represents a unique opportunity to make a difference to living in Western Australia in the 21 st Century. Sustainable Development has been talked about for many years, but there are very few built examples that have comprehensively adopted this design philosophy.
It has been up to entrepreneurs like architect / solar scientist, Garry Baverstock and his highly qualified and talented team of associates and consultants to again lead the way in the pursuit of ecologically sustainable design. This development, although a first for Geraldton, will also be a first for the State and the nation, in showing how the principles of sustainability can be comprehensively applied on a large scale with guaranteed outcomes.
The lifestyles that will be created will not be yet another demonstration of how we should live in the 21 st century, or will it be a superficial expression of some good sustainable ideas that others can follow. It will be built as an actualisation of how we are all going to live in Australia in the 21 st Century………………………..…….sooner rather than later!
In order to achieve this, the built environment will be solar-smart, the reliance on public utilities will be reduced, renewable energy will be applied in an economically viable way and the ecology will be preserved and enhanced in the immediate vicinity, as well as the region as a whole.
This project will be developed by WISE EARTH SYNDICATE P/L in conjunction with an elite team of professional project managers, consultants and business advisers contracted to the project managers of the contracted project manager, Wise Earth P/L
